A report from China caught my attention this week.
Inceptio, a Chinese provider of autonomous driving for long-haul trucks, is taking the next generation of its autonomous control unit into mass production. According to the company, its systems have now covered more than 700 million commercial kilometres and cover over 97 percent of China’s expressways.
This is a company announcement. Even so, it points towards AI being used in vehicles, control rooms, documents, permit conditions and operational decisions.
We are particularly interested in how much preparatory work AI can perform before a person decides: reading permits, finding conditions, preparing follow-up questions and turning information into something dispatch can use.
This is what we are working on at ViMoKi, and we would like your help.
Could you spare 90 seconds?
We are working on the new corporate site for ViMoKi:
vimoki.ai remains our product site. vimoki.de explains what ViMoKi stands for as a company.
At its centre is the German term KLÄRUNGSLAST: the clarification burden.
We mean the work before the actual work: missing details, PDF attachments, follow-up questions, status searches and coordination between dispatch, project management, the customer and the driver.
Please take a quick look at the site. Does it make you curious? Do you understand what we mean? Is anything missing?
A short response through Contact is enough. Even a clear “I don’t understand” helps us.
